I was not a picky kid, yet I have always been obsessed with red. If I did not have my red cup, I’d be mad. If I did not have my red hair clips…I’d be mad. I was basically the main character from the children’s book: Red Is Best by Kathy Stinson. So when I heard that red was the designated colour of Fall 2017 fashion I was ecstatic.

As I grew up, my love for the colour of red slowly faded to the point where I had no red in my wardrobe and despised wearing a red lip (because it makes me look like I am trying to achieve an older look). Yet the other day while shopping at local thrift stores, I went into the change room and tried on a gorgeous red gown and realized how beautiful red looks on every skin tone! Maybe it’s time for black to move aside as the universal shade and red to step in? To help with this insane transition, I made 3 looks of red beauty that are super easy to try this fall
#1: Fall au Parisienne
#2: Pastel & Gold = 90s Bold
